The Systems Difference

Systems started as a specialty piping contractor, installing process piping systems only from P&IDs back in the day.  As our customers started using more and more engineering firms, the drawings that our teams were provided to fabricate and install became worse and worse, with our field teams redesigning and fixing problems on the fly. 

These firms either didn’t understand process piping or weren’t concerned about it in the overall project. Systems decided to fix that with Systems Engineering, a team of highly skilled engineers, 3D designers, laser scan techs, and CAD jockeys, many of whom started out as Foreman with welding and pipe fitting experience. 

Don’t believe us?  See below for just a few examples of the typical things we run into.  If we built steel mills with the process piping designs that come from regular engineering firms, our customers would hate us.  We find the issues and design the piping systems with three main focuses: ability to install, easy access for the maintenance team, and the ability to replace when the time comes.
